- Who are you, what you do and who you serve?
We are two Brazilian moms, party addicts and design lovers. We have the best collection of props, new trends and cool ideas! Our main service is renting out unique and beautiful table decorations including cake stands, dainty and serving trays, furniture, ornaments, backdrops and themed decorations for DIY celebrations or Events.
- How and when did you get started in the industry?
We love entertaining and always want to create a unique look and feel to our events. There were so many times that we just couldn't find any table decorations that stood out as memorable. On the rare occasions we did find something we liked the price was prohibitive for single use. When we realized how widespread this issue was, a company was born!
- Where are you based and where do you meet with clients?
We are based in Winnipeg, we meet all customers at our shop (Unit 111 - 1079 Welligton Ave, by appointment)
- What services do you offer?
We offer décor rentals for all kinds of events, and we have party supplies for sale as well, such disposables, banners and balloons. All products, price, stock and rentals availability can be easily found at our website.
- What is the biggest trend you have seen since being in the industry?
Since we've started the business, we would say the biggest trends we see is: Grass Wall, Sweet Carts, and the circular backdrops, also the diversity of cake stands and trays that you can find only at Ornare.
- How far in advance do your clients typically book you?
For birthdays, anniversaries and showers, we would say customers usually look for rentals 3 months in advance or less, for weddings 6 months or more.
- Can you give us one of your industry tips that brides or grooms don't often know?
Choose a nice and fun backdrop/photo booth! Pictures are memories, and everybody likes to share pictures of the special days with the bride and groom. Checkout our variety of options, or contact us if you have an idea in mind, we will help you to make it happen!
- How do you stand out?
We are always looking for trends that aren't in Winnipeg yet, and discussing with customers which one would fit better the next events, so we can be assertive on what to bring first.
- Anything else you would like to mention?
We have the first local rental website where you can search products, check availability, book and pay online. In these days where in person visits are restricted, it is a great option for all our customers.
