Kristin and Kevin’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of love at the picturesque Fort Whyte Alive. Their intimate cocktail reception was a heartwarming day, shared with their closest loved ones, creating a day full of cherished memories and elegant details.
The ceremony took place on the patio, overlooking the stunning lake, providing a breathtaking backdrop for their vows. The aisle was adorned with whimsical sage and blush floral arrangements, creating a soft and romantic atmosphere. At the altar, four white round pillars, each topped with stunning floral arrangements, framed the couple perfectly as they exchanged rings. These ceremony flowers were thoughtfully repurposed to decorate the reception space.
As guests transitioned from the ceremony to the reception, they were greeted with glasses of champagne, setting a celebratory mood for the evening.
Inside the reception space, two cozy lounge areas with hanging flowers created inviting spots for guests to relax and mingle. Four beautifully set tables featured exquisite floral arrangements, pillar candles, and votives, casting a warm and intimate glow. Cocktail tables scattered around the room were decorated with bud vases and votives, maintaining the elegant and cohesive floral theme.
Guests were treated to a delightful culinary experience, starting with a fresh salad bar and a delectable mac and cheese station. Passed appetizers tantalized taste buds, and later in the evening, delicious desserts provided a sweet conclusion to the meal. Adding a personal touch, Kristin and Kevin offered fun signature drinks: “Hit by a Bus” and “Secret Garden,” which were enjoyed by all.
As the evening progressed, Kristin and Kevin took a moment to slip away with their talented photographer to capture stunning sunset photos on the dock. These beautiful images, set against the backdrop of the setting sun, perfectly encapsulated the romance and intimacy of their special day.
